1. A treat for lunch: homemade spicy veggie pizza

    You have to try this!

Crust made from Zaza’s recipe.  It’s thin.  It’s chewy.

    Tips:

    • Use half of the recommended salt (it’s a bit too salty for me).
    • Make 2 pizzas from this one recipe for thin, chewy crust.
    • Double the batch, form 2 additional dough balls and throw them in the freezer in a zip lock bag.  Take the dough out and let it thaw at room temp for a few hours or defrost in the fridge overnight and you have quick and easy weeknight pizza.

The spicy veggie toppings are: olive oil and crushed garlic for the base, a sprinkling of mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, fresh spinach leaves, baked squash, and jalapenos topped with a little pepper jack cheese.
